As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I am passionate about understanding how children and adults learn, and about exploring the supports and skills that help individuals build confidence in their abilities. My journey began with an interest in researching how students experience learning and support within the classroom environment. Through assessment, I now have the privilege of focusing on each unique individual—identifying strengths, challenges, and, most importantly, the tools that can help you or your child thrive.
My favourite moments in assessment are those “aha” experiences, when we gain insight into how your brain works and collaborate to find the words that translate your inner experiences so others can better understand your perspective. I offer Gifted, Psychoeducational, and ADHD assessments, and I am committed to ensuring you feel seen, known, and understood throughout the process.
Outside of my professional work, I am a strong advocate for finding fulfilling hobbies and practicing self-care. I enjoy escaping into a good book and believe that reading fiction is a wonderful way to build empathy. Swimming is another activity I value, even if I am not particularly skilled—I find regular movement essential for both mind and body. I share my home office with a cat who adopted our family, and who now supervises my report writing, ensuring my work is always “purrfect.”
While I have a weakness for terrible dad jokes, I take the responsibility of supporting you on your assessment journey very seriously. My goal is to work with you to ensure you feel supported, understood, and empowered every step of the way.
